This study by Cakir et al highlights how migraine can significantly worsen clinical presentation and recovery in patients with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV). BPPV Patients with migraines showed more severe vestibular, dizziness and imbalance symptoms and had lower quality of life scores.
This highlights the importance of assessing migraine when treating BPPV patients, as it may complicate their recovery.
