This recent literature review by Wilczyński et al. reinforces what many vestibular clinicians already know: accurate diagnosis of peripheral vestibular disorders relies heavily on detailed ocular movement assessment.
The authors recommend standardised and repeatable methods, including video-oculography, as essential to improving diagnostic confidence and reducing misclassification.
