This important review and meta analysis by Donovan et al (Clinical Rehabilitation, 2023) covers vestibular dysfunction in people who fall: prevalence and associated factors.  It concluded that clinicians can’t rely on patient’s reporting dizziness to indicate need for vestibular screening in those who fall and recommended incorporating a vestibular screen into falls assessments.
