Vesticam2 is an infra-red video eye-movement recording system. The system provides a clear recording of eye movements, with and without fixation. Clinicians can observe real time and also review transient eye movements during standard vestibular oculomotor tests.

What’s Included
Vesticam2 comes with a flexible and adjustable video goggles mounting plate, infrared camera unit and extension lead and adaptors (for monocular viewing). The camera can easily be swapped from one eye to the other. A second camera unit with additional, dual extension leads can be purchased separately to allow binocular testing. Additional silicone eye cups are also sold separately.
Vesticam2 is compatible with most android smartphones, tablets, laptops or computers. Or you can purchase an Android Recording Device directly from Vesticam, with the user-friendly Vesticam App pre-installed.
VESTIBULAR TESTS
Vesticam2 is perfect for balance and vestibular clinics, rehabilitation units, ENT and audiology centres, neuro vestibular labs and emergency departments to facilitate the following vestibular tests.
HALLPIKE DIX AND HORIZONTAL ROLL
For BPPV. Ability to focus allows for the important observation of torsional nystagmus.
BOW AND LEAN TEST
To help determine the affected ear in horizontal canal BPPV and ensure correct treatment strategy.
CLINICAL HEAD IMPULSE TEST (HIT)
Ability to record covert catch up saccades and review (at normal or half speed)
POST HEAD SHAKE NYSTAGMUS TEST
This test of velocity storage integration and dynamic balance of the labyrinths must be performed with fixation removed.
CLINICAL SUPPRESSION HEAD IMPULSE TESTING
A complementary test to the HIT and Post Head Shake Nystagmus, which can be performed clinically using Vesticam’s head mounted internal fixation light.
SACCADE AND SMOOTH PURSUIT RECORDING (MONOCULAR)
Removing the eye patch cylinder allows a target viewing range of 50 degrees horizontal and vertical. Camera can be swapped between eyes for increased range.
GAZE EVOKED NYSTAGMUS TESTING
With viewed target or without fixation. Reviewing increases clinician confidence in the direction of nystagmus, especially during HINTS testing.
VALSALVA, CLINICAL TULLIOS AND TRAGAL PRESSURE TESTING
Observation of eye movement during bedside changes in inner ear pressure can be performed with or without fixation to help differentiate between central and peripheral disorders.
MASTOID VIBRATION TESTING
Observe vibration induced nystagmus with fixation removed.
EMORY CLINICAL VESTIBULAR CHAIR TESTING
